My Vacations

In my 2016 holidays i went to La Serena with my parents, my brother and my puppy. We traveled in our car and we would stay there for about two weeks in a familiar's house. 

The first day we only rested because we felt very exhausted for the trip, the next day we starting visiting some locations; the first one that we went to was Valle del Elqui. The day was very hot so we bought some ice cream with uncommon flavor names that the sellers were offering; i tried the one that was called ¨copao ice cream¨, it was delicious, the copao is a sweet and common fruit from the place that grows in cactus. Later we visited the Puclaro Dam and the one thing that i can't forget about there is that i saw a snake staring at me while crawling on a rock.

Another day, we went to a very beautiful turquoise colored beach called Totoralillo, the water was very cold though; i remember that when we were setting up our towels and the sun umbrella, a big ocean wave came and wet us and all our stuff, even our puppy.
I think that the best part is that our familiars were very hospitable people so we felt very comfortable there.
