Nanometric world
Hello, today i'm going to talk about the nano metric world and the relation with science and human welfare, i believe that there are a lot of new and unknown ways for treating diseases that will have a big impact on everyone's life. Nanotechnology is a science of design, synthesis, characterisation and application of materials and devices which size is about 10^-9 meters, at that dimension, the properties of materials change and bring new molecular and cellular interactions.
One day i knew that new ways of treating and diagnosing diseases are being developed, i think that those developments are very important and related to my career because it will bring new options for the pharmaceutic area in terms of how the medicament are delivered to the organism. I find this very interesting because the nano world is very unknown and mysterious to our eye, not something we could see at simple sight every day. I've read about devices that works as a medicament on it's own that can treat dangerous illness that still doesn't have a cure like cancer, often treated with more dangerous medicament which leaves secondary effects in affected people. The part of detecting diseases with nano devices intrigues me because dealing with them at a molecular level will make the recognition and treatment faster, healthier and more effective than the traditional system and therefore saving the lives of a lot of people.
But like everything, it has flaws; even if new technologies mean big improving to our world, it also means that people with individual, lucrative and/or perverse interest will take advantages for that and find their way to harm the others.

the world nanometric is very mysterious! there is still much to investigate
ReplyDeletei really hope that the advances of this technology don't make individual people take advantages, and that the entire world can be benefited.
